The Ministry of AYUSH shared some measures to protect against COVID-19 infection which help in increasing immunity. These remedies are considered effective in Ayurveda. You can understand some ways to create and enhance your immunity from here.
1. The Ministry of AYUSH recommends to eat homemade food. Spices like cumin, coriander and turmeric should be included in the meal. Dry ginger and garlic should also be included in the food and to increase immunity, gooseberry should be eaten.
2. To increase immunity, take 20 grams of Chyawanprash twice a day with lukewarm water on an empty stomach. To increase immunity, one should also drink turmeric milk, which is made by adding half a teaspoon of turmeric powder in 150 ml of warm milk.
3. Drinking herbal tea or decoction made of basil, cinnamon, dry ginger and black pepper in 150 ml of water also builds immunity. You can also add jaggery, raisins and cardamom to it.
4. Steam therapy with plain water or peppermint or celery water is also a good way to create immunity and is effective in providing relief from dry phlegm.
5. You can do oil pulling therapy once or twice a day. Take 1 tsp coconut or sesame oil in the mouth and rotate it for 2-3 minutes and then spit it out. Rinse with warm water. You can also add coconut oil, sesame oil or cow’s ghee to your nose in the morning and evening to increase immunity.

Vitamin B6
These vitamins are important to support biochemical reactions in the immune system. Foods like chicken and cold water fish such as salmon and tuna, green vegetables and chickpeas are rich in this vitamin.

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that helps the body deal with infection effectively. Foods rich in vitamin E include nuts, seeds and spinach.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is excellent for increasing immunity. Foods like oranges, grapes, tangerine, strawberries, bell peppers, spinach, bananas and broccoli are rich in this vitamin.
